Fun Seekers,

Sorry about the duplicate emails.  Some day I'll get this sorted out.

See the attachments to view the table that Matt Hayes has built and is giving to raise $ for the annual Butler Island Charity.  It has a value of about $450 and is made from Butler Island lumber.  I think it is maple.  We still aren't sure how we will raise the $.  We'll have a raffle or do an auction.  If you can't make it here are some cell phone numbers you can call in to buy tickets or to make a bid.  802-782-2717 or 802-238-5609.  You can start calling at about noon on Sunday and we'll have a better idea of how we do this.  Also, if anyone has any other items we can auction or raffle please let us know or just bring your item to the party.

Storm update:  Big waves all day Sunday and Sunday night.  Wind was out of the north east, then north and finally west last night.  I saw a small dock go by in mid afternoon.  The biggest damage I saw this morning was the Towers dock.  It was knocked over and torn apart.  They are in route to assess and repair.  The lake level was already up about 1.5 ft this morning and will be up a lot more.  Everyone should think about raising their docks or pulling them in asap.  If I can assist or just advise on your behalf let me know.  802-782-2717,  I'll be back on the island this evening.

Best Regards,
David Bray
