Fisher/Fisher Cat seen on island

Nice to finally have some summer to enjoy, huh?  :)

Just
wanted to share with you that we saw a Fisher (also called a Fisher
Cat) on island at about 3pm today.  We were sitting in my parents' (Ed
and Tina Haase, west side, just north of David & Liza Bray) front
lawn and watched it run up the bank, across the front yard and into the
woods that separates their camp from the Brays'.  Looked, from where we
were, to be healthy and we assume it was a male given its size as
related to the descriptions we've read online.  We're really quite sure
that it was a Fisher.

Also,
I have a quick favor to ask.  In an attempt to really get a sense of
what we're dealing with, would you please let me know if you, someone
in your family or someone who visited you on Butler Island has had Lyme
Disease either last year (2008) or this year (2009)?  Just looking for
our count as close as we can get it.
