We have been out to the Island twice so far and it has been a quiet winter
out there. I had not seen any other footprints as of 2 week ago, except a
lot of deer.
I have a general question: I am considering trying to drill a well
for a hand pump. Has any one done this? I know we have about 3 foot
of soil over shale, but I have no idea how far away good water is. Any
feed back would be great.
Also: I do not have access to the web site. Is there a sign up or
something?
