New tax assessment

All;

I'm sure everyone has received a "Change in Appraisal of Real Estate"
and feels quite "aggrieved" as I do.  My appraisal more than doubled so
I certain my taxes will follow suit!

I understand from Matt Hayes that this is state wide and not restricted
to North Hero so I guess I'm feeling any complaint will be lost in yet a
larger bureaucracy.

Would a consistent message from Islanders make any difference? I would
like to hear from others on Butler Island and what they plan on doing.
We receive no services from local or state government. My taxes on my
camp will likely be twice what they are for my permanent home, and
that's plain ridiculous.
